Community contribution and revitalization

One of the purposes of Hekizanen is to revitalize Aikawa Town by cultivating and selling Tochu.
Tochu Cha tea is cultivated mainly by members and local senior citizens, and the purpose is to make the highest production volume in Japan and high quality products that we can be proud of in the world.
We are also aiming to expand employment opportunities in the future. We also actively accept local elderly people and volunteers to provide a place where they can experience lifelong learning and agriculture.

In order to grow a healthy and solid Tochu tree with high nutritional and useful ingredients, Hekizanen is particular about making seedlings and grows a healthy Tochu tree that is rich in useful ingredients.

Soil preparation

No pesticides are used, and only the researched and developed fully fermented specific organic fertilizer is used to create rich soil.

Manufacturing method

From July to September, when the leaves are in the best composition, they are carefully hand-picked one by one in the early morning, when it is still dark and has abundant nutrients. Immediately after harvesting, it is processed by our patented manufacturing method to make fine powder of 10 to 15 μ. The packaging is once vacuumed and filled with nitrogen before delivery.
